Job Description
Powersports Service Writer / Parts Associate Outdoor Power Inc. is seeking a dependable, customer-focused Powersports Service Writer / Parts Associate to join our team. This position works directly with customers, technicians, and dealership staff to ensure service repairs are handled efficiently and customers receive excellent service. The ideal candidate will be organized, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and knowledgeable about—or eager to learn—the powersports industry. Key Responsibilities Greet service and parts customers in a professional and friendly manner Schedule service appointments and prepare accurate repair orders Listen to customer concerns and clearly document requested repairs Provide customers with repair estimates, timelines, and status updates Communicate with technicians regarding repair progress and additional work needed Obtain customer authorization before completing additional repairs Look up, recommend, and sell parts, accessories, apparel, and maintenance products Prepare parts for service technicians and ensure repair orders are billed correctly Process customer payments and complete service paperwork Follow up with customers after service is completed Help maintain a clean, organized, and professional service and parts area Assist with other dealership responsibilities as needed Qualifications Previous service-writing, parts, automotive, powersports, or customer-service experience is preferred Knowledge of ATVs, side-by-sides, or other powersports equipment is a plus Strong communication and customer-service skills Basic computer, data-entry, and point-of-sale skills Ability to accurately look up parts and follow established procedures Strong organizational and time-management skills Ability to manage multiple customers and repair orders at the same time Dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work well as part of a team Valid driver's license Willingness to work Saturdays as scheduled What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Full-time employment Employee discounts Training and opportunities to grow within the dealership A team-oriented work environment The opportunity to work in the powersports industry Schedule Full-time Day shift Saturday availability required How to Apply Apply through Indeed with your resume and a brief description of your customer-service, parts, automotive, or powersports experience.
