Part-Time (2 days a week + every other Saturday)
Position Overview:
We are seeking a friendly, organized, and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Receptionist / Customer Service Associate. The ideal candidate will be responsible for answering phone calls, greeting customers, and addressing furniture inquiries. This position requires someone who is personable, reliable, and comfortable working in a dynamic environment. Interest in learning about furniture and interior decorating is a plus! This is a great position for an interior design student looking to learn more about working with residential design.
Key Responsibilities:
Answer Phones:
Professionally answer incoming calls, direct them to appropriate departments, and provide basic information to customers.
Customer Greeting:
Welcome visitors and customers as they arrive, creating a positive first impression of the company.
Furniture Inquiries:
Respond to routine questions and provide information on products/services offered; Furniture and design based.
General Office Support:
Assist with other clerical tasks such as filing, data entry, or light administrative duties when needed. Maintain a
Clean and Organized Reception Area:
Ensure the front desk and showroom are neat and welcoming.
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with other team members to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer service.
Schedule:
Preferably Wednesday, Friday, and Every other
Saturday Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required Previous experience in customer service or reception is preferred Strong verbal communication skills Basic computer skills (email, phone systems, data entry) Ability to handle multiple tasks with attention to detail. Friendly, approachable demeanor with excellent interpersonal skills Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment
