$25+30/hr., based on experience The Ace Consulting Group is hiring an experienced Customer Service Representative for an established flexographic printing and packaging organization in Wood Dale, IL. Previous experience within the flexographic printing or packaging industry is
REQUIRED
for this position. Candidates must have experience supporting customers, orders, or production within a flexographic printing/packaging environment. This is not a traditional customer service or call-center position. The CSR serves as an important connection between the customer and manufacturing process , managing customer orders and requirements from initial order entry through production coordination and delivery. What You'll Do as a
Customer Service Representative:
Serve as a primary point of contact for customers throughout the order and production process Receive, enter, review, and manage customer orders with a high degree of accuracy Review order specifications, customer requirements, timelines, and supporting documentation Coordinate orders from entry through production and shipment Communicate with customers regarding order status, changes, scheduling, and delivery expectations Work closely with production, prepress, scheduling, shipping, sales, and other internal departments Monitor active orders and proactively identify potential delays or discrepancies Research and resolve customer, order, production, and shipping-related issues Maintain accurate customer and order information within company systems Manage multiple customer accounts, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously Ensure changes and customer requirements are accurately communicated to the appropriate internal teams Follow through on open issues through final resolution Build strong, professional relationships with customers and internal partners
REQUIRED
Industry Experience:
Flexographic printing and/or packaging industry experience is required. We are specifically interested in candidates with backgrounds involving: Flexographic printing Corrugated packaging Labels / pressure-sensitive labels Folding carton packaging Flexible packaging Packaging prepress Print production within a packaging environment Other closely related packaging manufacturing environments utilizing flexographic printing processes
What We're Looking For:
Previous customer service, account coordination, order management, or production coordination experience within the flexographic printing/packaging industry Understanding of the workflow between customer orders, specifications, prepress, production, scheduling, and shipping Strong order-entry and data-entry skills with excellent attention to detail Ability to understand and manage detailed customer specifications Strong problem-solving skills and ability to investigate discrepancies Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple orders, customers, deadlines, and changing priorities Strong follow-through and sense of ownership Experience with ERP, order management, print management, or manufacturing systems preferred Microsoft Office proficiency
