Responsibilities:
The primary purpose of this position is to be responsible for providing effective customer sales support for all internal and externalWITTENSTEIN
Inc. customers by utilizing excellent, in-depth knowledge of company products and programs. The expectation is to establish and maintain long-term customer relationships and satisfaction while marketingWITTENSTEIN
products to exceed revenue and profit goals. Ensure that quotes requested by customers and Regional Sales Managers are processed in a timely manner Process all customer PO's within assigned sales territory by prepping & acknowledging within 24 hours of receipt; manage blanket orders & customer web portals Answer all incoming pre/post sale customer inquiries; expedite requests, cancellations, order status/tracking within 24 hours Responsible for learning product portfolio to provide first level support of technical drawings, and address basic technical questions Collaborate with Regional Sales Manager to maintain pricing agreements as well as building relationships with current and new customers Qualify sales leads/opportunities Maintain Order Accuracies of 100% and less than $5k per quarter in order entry error Monitor CRM opportunities to stay up-to-date on territory activities Confer with production, shipping, warehouse, or parent headquarters to order product, track shipments, reduce inventory, etc. Assist on special projects as assigned by manager; perform other duties as assignedQualifications:
Strong customer orientation to include the ability to understand our customers' needs/expectations and be empathetic to their needs Ability to learn company's proprietary software Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Clearly communicate customer needs and expectations internally within the organization Coordinate communication as a team with Sales Engineers and Customers Be able to deliver tough messages in a diffusing tone and professional manner Detail oriented- must have a keen eye for purchase order details, i.e shipping methods and customer addresses, payment terms, pricing, products, etc... Time Management:
the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities at a high level Must be a strong team player Knowledge of SAP strongly preferred Knowledge of MRP/ERP and CRM systems Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Point, etc. Gear industry and Motion Control industry basic product knowledge a plusCompetencies:
Attention to detail, effectively manages conflict, organized, follows company policies, takes ownership for actions/results Ability to speak in public May be required to attend a local tradeshow 1-2 times per yearEducation/Experience:
High School Diploma required. 2 to 5 years of customer centric sales support experience is required/Preferably in a manufacturing/industrial automation industryBenefits:
