LaGrange County REMC is focused on providing excellent service and is seeking to fill the position of Customer Service Representative.

Job DescriptionAs the Customer Service Representative, you will be the primary point of contact for our members. You will be responsible for processing member account inquiries and interacting with members to address account questions. In this role you will also be required to perform collections procedures, create service orders, calculate, and post payments.
QualificationsRequired:
A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent education.

Minimum of 2 years customer service experience.
Preferred:
Associate degree in business, accounting, or related field.

Knowledge of electricity and electrical components, billing, and collections.

Salary range for this position is $20 to $24.50 per hour depending on qualifications and experience, with a progression opportunity to reach $30 per hour.
