In this role, you will be the friendly voice and welcoming face for pet owners and clients, providing exceptional customer service while supporting the daily operations of our veterinary clinic. Duties Greet clients warmly and assist them with appointment scheduling, check-in, and check-out procedures using veterinary software. Handle medical collections efficiently, ensuring accurate billing and payment processing in compliance with Veterinary practice standards. Provide front desk support by answering phone calls, responding to inquiries, and managing appointment calendars. Support veterinary staff with administrative tasks such as updating patient records, processing lab requests, and managing client communications. Maintain a clean, organized reception area and lobby following aseptic techniques and safety protocols. Support compliance with USDA regulations, DEA regulations related to controlled substances, and other veterinary legal requirements. Requirements Previous experience in a veterinary clinic or animal care setting is highly preferred, including familiarity with veterinary terminology and medical-surgical procedures. Proficiency in Microsoft and veterinary software systems for record-keeping and communication. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and empathetically with clients. Experience with laboratory procedures, drug administration, catheterization, pet grooming, or dog training is a plus. Knowledge of veterinary critical care practices, animal husbandry, pet grooming, and companion animal medicine is advantageous. Familiarity with veterinary administrative support tasks such as scheduling surgeries or managing pet care instructions.
