Part-Time Customer Service Representative (Veterinary Receptionist) Animal Hospital of Nicholasville Nicholasville, KY Part-Time Do you love helping people just as much as you love animals? Animal Hospital of Nicholasville is looking for a compassionate, dependable, and positive Customer Service Representative to join our team. As the first and last person our clients interact with, our CSRs play a vital role in creating an exceptional experience for every pet and every family that walks through our doors. We are an AAHA-accredited veterinary hospital committed to providing high-quality medicine with outstanding customer service. We believe in treating every client and patient with kindness, respect, and empathy while working together as one team. What You'll Do Welcome clients and patients with warmth and professionalism. Answer multi-line phones and schedule appointments efficiently. Check clients in and out while maintaining accurate medical records. Explain estimates, invoices, and payment options with confidence and compassion. Communicate effectively with veterinarians, technicians, and support staff to ensure seamless patient care. Manage email, text messages, and client follow-up communications. Process prescription refill requests and coordinate with the medical team. Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area. Educate clients on preventive care, wellness plans, and hospital services. Assist wherever needed to help the team provide exceptional care and service. What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is: Friendly, outgoing, and genuinely enjoys helping people. Calm under pressure and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Detail-oriented and highly organized. Comfortable using computers and learning veterinary software. An excellent communicator with outstanding phone etiquette. Dependable, punctual, and accountable. Compassionate toward both pets and the people who love them. A team player who is willing to jump in wherever needed. Eager to learn and grow professionally. Previous veterinary reception experience is a plus, but it is not required. Experience in customer service, healthcare, hospitality, or another client-focused environment is highly valued. Schedule This is a part-time position consisting of 3 - 4 shifts per week , with shifts averaging 9-10 hours . Candidates must have flexible availability and be able to work rotating Saturdays .
