Trak group is partnering with a growing industrial client seeking a Customer Service Representative to serve as a primary point of contact for customers while supporting order processing, sales activities, and relationship development. This entry-level opportunity is ideal for someone with strong customer service and communication skills who is interested in developing a career in inside sales. The Customer Service Representative will work closely with customers and internal Sales, Engineering, Product Development, and Manufacturing teams to ensure orders are processed accurately, delivery expectations are met, and customer concerns are resolved quickly.

Responsibilities Serve as a primary point of contact for customers through phone, email, and website inquiries. Accurately enter and process customer orders and communicate requirements to appropriate internal teams. Provide first-level resolution for customer questions, concerns, and order issues. Understand customer needs and recommend appropriate product solutions. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers. Support individual and team sales goals through proactive customer engagement. Partner with Inside and Field Sales teams to identify purchasing patterns and potential sales opportunities. Provide sales teams with customer information and insights that can help strengthen relationships and grow accounts. Coordinate with internal departments regarding product availability, scheduling, shipping, and delivery requirements. Track and expedite late orders to ensure customer expectations are met. Maintain accurate quote logs, product sales information, customer records, and tracking spreadsheets. Analyze customer accounts and make necessary corrections or updates. Track sales campaigns and assist with performance reporting. Provide follow-up communication to customers and prospective customers. Serve as a first responder for incoming calls and route inquiries appropriately. Provide management with regular updates on customer and sales activities. Support company safety policies and recommend opportunities to improve workplace safety. Must-Haves High school diploma or GED required. Strong customer service skills with a professional and customer-focused approach. Comfortable managing a high volume of calls, emails, and customer requests. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to build relationships and identify customer needs. Strong organization and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple changing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to resolve customer concerns professionally. Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Ability to learn and effectively utilize a CRM system to manage customer relationships and sales activity. Ability to collaborate with Sales, Engineering, Manufacturing, and other internal teams. Interest in developing product knowledge and growing into a sales-focused position. Preferred Some college education. Previous customer service, order processing, or sales support experience. General sales or business development experience. CRM experience. Experience working with industrial or technical products. Previous experience supporting Inside or Field Sales teams. Interest in advancing into an Inside Sales role.
