Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable RV Service Writer to join our team. The ideal candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring their service needs are met with professionalism and efficiency. This role requires a strong understanding of the repair processes, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to effectively communicate technical information to clients. Responsibilities Greet customers promptly and professionally, assessing their service needs. Document customer concerns and relay them accurately to the service technicians. Provide detailed estimates for repairs and services. Upsell additional services based on customer needs and unit condition. Maintain clear communication with customers throughout the service process, providing updates on unit status. Ensure all work orders are completed accurately and in a timely manner. Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise during the service process. Collaborate with technicians to ensure that all repairs meet dealership standards. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in diagnostics. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on building rapport with clients. Ability to upsell services effectively while maintaining customer trust. Previous experience in a RV dealership or automotive service environment is preferred. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks.
