Job Description

CUSTOMER & HEALTH SERVICES REPRESENTATIVE
Openwork is currently seeking a dependable and customer-focused Customer & Health Services Representative in LaPlace, LA. In this role, you will support trainees, provide excellent customer service, assist with occupational health services, and ensure all testing and company procedures are followed accurately.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES TRAINING & ELEARNING SUPPORT
  • Open and close the eLearning lab each day while maintaining cleanliness and inventory.
  • Check in trainees, verify identification, and launch courses and exams.
  • Proctor trainees and enforce testing protocols and company policies.
  • Assist Safety Instructors with classroom setup, materials, and testing procedures.
  • Report course discrepancies, policy violations, and unethical behavior to management.
CUSTOMER SERVICE & SCHEDULING
  • Greet and process trainees while verifying credentials and issuing badges.
  • Handle fax registrations, payments, and course requirement confirmations.
  • Use company software to schedule courses and manage trainee information.
  • Respond to customer questions and assist other departments during busy periods.
OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH SERVICES
  • Administer respirator fit tests, audiometric testing, drug and alcohol screenings, and pulmonary function tests.
  • Inspect, calibrate, and maintain testing equipment according to manufacturer guidelines.
  • Maintain confidentiality of customer information and follow applicable CFR standards.
  • Clean, disinfect, and inspect equipment after each use.
  • Respond to after-hours calls and provide support for medical services as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
  • Customer service experience
  • Understanding of processes and procedures within a customer service environment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures
  • Professional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Must be available Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM-3:30 PM

LaPlace, LA Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:30
PM Hours:
40 hours per week
