Job Description
Harper Chevrolet GMC has an immediate opening for an Assistant Service Advisor position. Harper Chevrolet GMC Service department is seeking qualified applicants for an Assistant Service Advisor. To ensure optimum customer service, we're looking to hire an enthusiastic and efficient individual with excellent communication and customer service skills. The person hired for this position will work one-on-one with our customers and our service department as well as aiding our current Senior Service Advisor. We're counting on you to develop extensive product knowledge and to serve all our customers with a friendly smile and honest guidance. We offer in-house training and support as well as competitive compensation.
Assistant Service Advisor responsibilities:
- Greet customers when they arrive at the parts and service center
- Consult with technicians about necessary repairs and possible alternatives to expensive work
- Answer questions about service outcome (after consulting with technician if necessary)
- Call customers to inform them of changes in service or to let them know their vehicle is ready for pick-up and answer service calls to the dealership Applicants applying for this position will need to meet the following requirements:
- General Computer Skills, including but not limited to Microsoft Excel
- General knowledge of automotive industry and parts is a plus
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to communicate equally well with mechanics, customers and management
