Job Description
What You'll Do Minden Medical Center is seeking a well-organized, energetic Pharmacist for our Pharmacy Department who can thrive in a fast-paced acute care setting. This inpatient hospital pharmacist role supports safe, timely medication preparation and dispensing across the facility, including emergency and life-saving medications, while following established inpatient medication processes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Prepare, verify, and dispense inpatient medications per hospital policy
- Support medication needs for acute care areas, including urgent and emergent situations
- Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients, physicians, coworkers, and supervisors
- Maintain accuracy, integrity, and safety in all pharmacy workflows
Qualifications:
- Education requirements met prior to licensure with the Louisiana State Board of Pharmacy
- Current Louisiana Board of Pharmacy Pharmacist License in good standing
Pharmacist:
1+ year hospital experience preferred
