Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a friendly, dependable, and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our team in the waste management industry. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for residential and commercial customers, assisting with service requests, billing inquiries, scheduling, and issue resolution. The ideal candidate is organized, communicates effectively, and is committed to providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Answer inbound customer calls, emails, and online inquiries in a professional and courteous manner. Schedule new services, container deliveries, pickups, exchanges, and removals. Resolve customer concerns related to missed pickups, billing, service changes, and account information. Process payments, update customer accounts, and maintain accurate records in the company database. Coordinate with dispatch, drivers, and operations staff to ensure timely resolution of service requests. Educate customers on recycling, waste disposal guidelines, and company services. Follow company policies while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. Document customer interactions and follow up on unresolved issues as needed. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. 1-3 years of customer service or call center experience preferred. Experience in waste management, transportation, logistics, or utility services is a plus. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities. Proficient with Microsoft Office and customer relationship management (CRM) software. Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
