Job Description
Sylvester Electric is a family-owned electrical contractor serving Massachusetts and Southern New Hampshire since 1979. We are seeking an outgoing, professional, and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our growing team. This position is often the first interaction our customers have with our company. The ideal candidate understands how to make callers feel comfortable, listened to, and confident they have reached the right company. This is not a high-pressure sales role. We are looking for someone who enjoys helping people, building trust, and creating a positive customer experience while scheduling service appointments and supporting our operations team. We are seeking a professional, customer-focused individual who enjoys helping people and creating positive customer experiences. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, strong organizational abilities, and the ability to remain calm and professional while handling customer inquiries.
Requirements:
- Previous customer service, scheduling, dispatching, receptionist, or office administration experience preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities
- Comfortable learning company software and processes
- Professional phone etiquette
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience in home services, construction, trades, HVAC, plumbing, or electrical industries is a plus
- Positive attitude and commitment to outstanding customer service Compensation details: 15-18 Hourly Wage
