Join our Team and become part of the Marcotte Ford Family! We are looking for an entry level or experienced Automotive Service Advisor to add to our team. The Service Advisor is responsible for scheduling the repair work for the shop, writing the work orders for the shop, preparing estimates for repair work, explaining the maintenance requirements to the customer and working with factory warranty and extended warranties. Experience a plus but is not required.

$45,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year (negotiable based on experience)
Job Description:
Ascertains automotive problems and services by listening to customers' description of symptoms; clarifying description of problems; checking vehicle maintenance records Prepares repair orders (RO) by describing symptoms, problems, and cause discovered, as well as repairs and services required; obtaining approval signatures; entering RO into service database system Proactively and consistently communicates with customers regarding status of their vehicle using preferred communication method (text, email, phone) Verifies warranty and service contract coverage by examining records Develops estimates by costing materials, supplies, and labor; calculating customer's payment Maintains customer rapport by explaining estimates and expected return of vehicle; obtaining customer approval of estimates; obtaining and providing contact telephone numbers; answering questions and concerns; arranging towing and temporary transportation Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading manufacturers' publications. Upholds organizations reputation and standards as outlined in employee handbook The right candidate should possess: Exceptional customer service skills Positive, friendly attitude Excellent oral & written communication skills The ability to work in a fast-paced environment Be a team player Basic computer skills Basic phone skills
