Responsibilities Greet customers warmly, creating a welcoming atmosphere for all shoppers Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process purchases, returns, and exchanges Handle cash, credit, and digital payments with precision and integrity Assist customers with product demos, answering questions about features and benefits Upsell products and suggest additional items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales Maintain organized merchandising displays and stock shelves to ensure attractive presentation Manage inventory by stocking shelves, conducting stock checks, and assisting with product replenishment Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries via phone or in person with professionalism and courtesy Follow proper phone etiquette when communicating with customers or vendors Support team members through supervising experience when needed, helping train new staff or guiding peers Skills Proficiency with POS systems and cash handling procedures Strong communication skills, including bilingual abilities preferred for serving diverse customers Experience in retail sales, merchandising, stocking, and grocery store operations Ability to perform basic math quickly and accurately for cashiering and retail math calculations Demonstrated customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor Knowledge of upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities Familiarity with phone etiquette for professional interactions over the phone or via digital channels Supervising experience is a plus for leadership opportunities within the team Join us in creating a vibrant shopping environment where every customer leaves satisfied!
