Job Description
Hours are 8am-4:30pm.
JOB SUMMARY
: Individual is responsible for processing orders and taking incoming telephone calls from our customer.DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
The requirements listed below are representative of the essential duties required: Process new PO's. Answer general end-user and dealer questions such as: Product information, Price and availability, Technical assistance, Product Complaint, Repair procedure/address, Repair status request. Answer customer questions and assist with finding the correct product needed for their application. Interact with sales P&IC, Accounting, Engineering, and Shipping Departments on a daily basis to satisfy our customers' needs. Provide RA numbers to customers returning product for credit. Coordinate DL/S papers. Track packages or give tracking numbers. Assist walk-in customers. Other duties as required.LEVEL OF RESPONSIBILITY
Employee works under general supervision. Employee has little or no decision-making responsibility. The employee has little or no impact on the decisions of others.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
: None.REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES
Previous customer service experience is a plus. Comfortable speaking on the phone with customers. Position requires employee to utilize and understand simple formatting and use of Microsoft products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or equivalent Bachelor's degree is desired. 1-3 years of experience in a customer service or office environment. Basic, introductory on-the-job training.WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Physical Demands/Efforts Prolonged periods of sitting and working on a computer. Prolonged period of being on the telephone. Little or no physical exertion. Mental & Visual Demands/Efforts Work is routine and consistent from day to day. Ability to work with people including those who are upset. Work requires some degree of visual effort for periods of time. Work Environment and Hazards Some areas of the building are not climate controlled. Working environment is typical of an office setting. Absence of hazards. Occasional travel to trade shows when possible.
