We are seeking an experienced Inside Sales & Customer Support Specialist to join a fast-paced industrial manufacturing environment. This role will work closely with customers, sales professionals, and internal teams to manage customer accounts from order entry through shipment while providing proactive communication and solutions. Responsibilities Manage customer accounts and communicate order status, delivery dates, tracking information, and updates. Coordinate expedite requests and proactively address potential delivery issues. Provide direct support to outside sales and maintain strong customer relationships. Enter and manage customer orders within an ERP system. Prepare quotes and recommend products or services based on customer needs. Identify opportunities to upsell complementary products and solutions. Follow up on leads and identify potential new customers. Respond to customer and internal requests promptly and provide effective solutions. Review and analyze sales and customer activity reports. Monitor inventory, pricing, and market conditions to support customer and sales needs. Develop strong technical knowledge of the products and services offered. Promote customer incentives and sales initiatives. Collaborate with internal departments to meet on-time delivery and customer service goals. Qualifications High school diploma required; four-year degree preferred but not required with relevant experience. Experience in a sales, customer service, purchasing, order management, or related environment. Industrial or manufacturing experience required. Distribution experience preferred. Strong customer service and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Experience with ERP systems and general computer applications. Ability to understand technical products and communicate solutions to customers.
