Established in 1965, Beltsville Veterinary Hospital , located on the outskirts of the Washington D.C. metropolitan area, has provided exceptional care for companion animals and exotics for decades. Our veterinarians are passionate about providing quality preventative care and excellent client communication, and we welcome new graduate veterinarians seeking strong mentorship! We boast an excellent culture, collaborative environment, and low turnover. Our team has strong clinical skills in the areas of wellness and dentistry, as well as basic soft tissue and ophthalmic surgeries. At Beltsville Veterinary Hospital , we've been caring for pets and their families since 1965. Our team is upbeat, hardworking, supportive, and committed to creating a positive experience for both our clients and patients. We're currently looking for a Part-Time Client Service Representative who is friendly, organized, dependable, and comfortable working in a busy veterinary hospital environment. Our CSRs are a key part of the client experience: from the first phone call to check-in, checkout, scheduling, and follow-up care. What makes BVH special? A team that supports each other during busy days and celebrates wins together Doctors and team leads who value communication, teaching, and collaboration A loyal client base that trusts us with their pets A hospital culture built on compassion, accountability, humor, and teamwork A growing hospital with updated workflows, improved scheduling systems, and a strong focus on client service What we're looking for: Previous veterinary, medical office, receptionist, or customer service experience preferred Strong phone etiquette and professional communication skills Ability to multitask while staying organized and detail-oriented Comfort working with clients, pets, doctors, technicians, and fellow CSRs Someone who can stay calm, kind, and solution-focused in a fast-paced environment Willingness to learn hospital workflows, scheduling guidelines, and client communication protocols Familiarity with Impromed is a bonus, but not required Key responsibilities: Greet clients and provide a welcoming front desk experience Answer phones professionally and assist with scheduling needs Schedule appointments using hospital scheduling guidelines and appointment blocks Review online booked appointments and confirm client/patient information Coordinate with our Remote Call Center Team when needed Check clients in and out, collect payments, and review invoices Support forward booking by helping clients schedule recommended follow-up visits before leaving the hospital Help maintain front desk organization and complete daily CSR checklist tasks Communicate clearly with the medical team and management throughout the day Pay range: $17.50 - $22.00 per hour , based on skills and experience.
