Pay:
$18
- 23/hour, based on experience
Schedule:
5-day workweek with rotating weekend shifts Alpine Veterinary Hospital is growing, and we're looking for a Client Service Representative (CSR) to join our team in Cabin John, MD. We're looking for someone with at least 1 year of customer service experience who enjoys helping people, loves animals, and can provide a welcoming and professional experience for every client and patient who walks through our doors. Veterinary experience is preferred but not required. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to build their career in veterinary medicine while working alongside a collaborative and supportive hospital team. What You'll Do As a Client Service Representative, you'll be an important part of the client and patient experience.
- Welcome clients and their pets with a friendly, professional attitude
- Answer phones and respond to client questions
- Schedule appointments and manage the hospital's appointment calendar
- Check clients in and out efficiently and accurately
- Process payments and assist with financial transactions
- Communicate appointment details and treatment information to clients
- Maintain accurate client and patient records
- Coordinate communication between clients, veterinary technicians, and doctors
- Help clients understand next steps for their pet's care
- Handle client concerns with empathy and professionalism
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area
- Support the veterinary team with administrative and hospital tasks as needed What We're Looking For
- At least 1 year of customer service experience
- Previous veterinary or animal-care experience is preferred, but not required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A genuine interest in helping people and caring for pets
- Comfortable speaking with clients in person and over the phone
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a busy environment
- Reliable, professional, and positive attitude
- Comfortable working as part of a collaborative team
- Willingness to learn veterinary terminology, procedures, and hospital systems Schedule
