Position:
Customer Service - Mail Room Operator
POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for providing client services in a mail room setting. Works with manager to ensure staffing and contractual requirements are met.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Customer Satisfaction Demonstrates a willingness to help each customer. Provides services right the first time, minimizing rework. Gives prompt, on-time service, minimizing overtime. Appearance is professional, meeting customer requirements. Ask questions and actively listens in order to better meet a customer request. Develops a rapport with the Contract Administrator. Is Reliable and dependable. Financial/Operational Support attainment of financial results, by minimizing site waste and rework. Ensure adherence to established safety and security procedures. Service Excellence Resolves problems quickly and appropriately while using a variety of resources. Identifies process improvements through quality initiatives. Responds with urgency to the most critical issues in the event of an emergency (e.g. mail security). Deals with issues "head-on" considering impact to both people and task. Maintains a positive attitude. Contributes to accurate and timely collection of performance measurement data. Provides constructive feedback and recognition. Teamwork/Self Development Cross-trains employees in at least one additional role. Ensures all employees are participating fully on the team. Treats people with dignity, consideration and respect regardless of background, level or circumstances. Applies skills learned from training.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma.
  • 1+ years of prior operations experience
  • Must project a professional image
  • Must have effective communication, customer service, and organizational skills
  • Must possess and demonstrate excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Computer experience required - proficient in MS Office.
  • Self motivated and can handle multiple functions.
  • Strong knowledge in provided services with excellent quality checking Work location is currently in Owings Mills but will change to Columbia at some point next year.
Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
$31,000.00 - $35,000.00 per year
