Job Description

Summary The Customer Service Representative will work together with the Business Development and the Inside Business Development teams as well as other staff members to grow the existing customer base, create new customer base and meet or exceed sales expectations while increasing customer satisfaction. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Answer customers' questions about products, prices, availability, and product uses. Work with new and existing customers to discuss their needs, and to explain how these needs could be met by specific products. Quote prices and other bid specifications. Inform customers of estimated delivery schedules, warranties, or other information pertaining to purchased products. Collaborate with colleagues to exchange information such as business development strategies and marketing information. Follow up on orders and quotes. Other duties as assigned. Competencies Analytical Decision-Making Communication Learning & Development Planning & Organizing Professionalism & Integrity Risk-Taking/Creative Thinking Teamwork & Relationship-Building Results Orientation Education and/or Experience Requires an advance-related degree or a high school diploma/equivalent with over 2 years of work-related experience. Must have excellent communication and active listening skills with the ability to deal with others in a professional manner. Attention to detail is essential. Time management with a strong sense of urgency and motivation required. Computer Skills Demonstrates proficiency with MS Excel, Word, and Outlook. Benefits Excellent benefits package.
