  • Full-time, Contract A well-established healthcare benefits organization is seeking Customer Service Representatives to join its Participant Advocate team.
This role is ideal for candidates with strong call center experience who thrive in structured, fast-paced environments and are passionate about delivering excellent customer support. The organization provides healthcare and benefits support services to members and their families, including assistance with eligibility, claims, coverage, and enrollment-related questions. Responsibilities Handle high-volume inbound calls regarding benefits, eligibility, claims, payments, and coverage inquiries Provide professional, empathetic, and accurate customer support Research and resolve participant issues by coordinating with internal departments and vendors Accurately document customer interactions within internal systems Navigate multiple databases and software systems simultaneously during live calls Process enrollment updates, forms, and clerical support tasks Maintain productivity, attendance, and quality standards in a structured call center environment QualificationsRequired Minimum 1 year of call center or customer service experience Strong verbal and written communication skills Comfortable working in a highly structured and performance-driven environment Ability to multitask across systems while handling live calls Strong attendance, punctuality, and reliability High School Diploma or equivalent Typing speed of at least 40 WPM Proficiency with Microsoft Office Ability to pass background check and drug screening Preferred Bilingual candidates strongly encouraged to apply Experience in healthcare, insurance, or medical call center environments Experience handling claims, eligibility, or benefits-related inquiries Experience supporting members, participants, or union-based organizations Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is dependable, coachable, detail-oriented, and comfortable in a fast-paced, repetitive customer service environment.
