Job Summary:
The customer service representative is responsible for performing administrative tasks, including but not limited to answering phones, scheduling appointments, maintaining records, and verifying patient information. This position plays a crucial role in fulfilling Liberty Pediatrics & Family Medicine's vision of commitment to compassion, integrity, and excellence. ~Must be flexible for morning, evening and Saturday shifts.~
Key Responsibilities:
Handle incoming and outgoing calls professionally and courteously. Accurately schedule appointments and maintain provider schedules. Assist patients on the phone with scheduling, rescheduling, medication refill requests and any questions they may have. Accurately maintain patient records. Verify eligibility for insurance.
Education and Experience Requirements:
Three years of customer service experience preferred. One year of experience with medical terminology preferred. Three years of computer experience, preferably with office software and electronic medical record (EMR) systems preferred.
Skills and Competencies:
Strong communication and customer service skills. Teamwork, collaboration, and time management skills. Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment. Proficient with office equipment and computer systems, including EMR. Adherence to HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain patient confidentiality. Why Join Us? $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
