Crafts Cars is looking for a motivated, dependable, and customer-focused Service Writer Assistant to join our team! This position works directly alongside our Service Manager to help coordinate daily service operations, communicate with customers, and keep our service department running efficiently. The ideal candidate will have prior service writing, automotive, or mechanical experience, strong communication skills, and a willingness to learn. We are looking for someone who is organized, comfortable speaking with customers, and able to adapt to various software platforms and day-to-day responsibilities. Responsibilities & Duties Duties include, but are not limited to: Working directly with our Service Manager to support daily service department operations. Communicating professionally with service customers by phone and in person. Scheduling and coordinating service appointments. Handling service contract claims and communicating with warranty providers. Scheduling recalls to be completed at other dealerships for our inventory. Managing and coordinating loaner vehicles. Maintaining and organizing parts inventory. Assisting with service department paperwork, documentation, and administrative tasks. Using various computer programs, software platforms, and dealership systems. Supporting the Service Manager with additional responsibilities as needed. Qualifications & Requirements Prior service writer, automotive service, or mechanical experience required. Basic computer skills, including: Scanning and organizing documents. Email communication. Working with various software platforms and computer systems. Comfortable communicating with customers over the phone. Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability and willingness to learn new tasks, systems, and procedures. Must possess a valid driver's license. Reliable, dependable, and able to work effectively as part of a team. Pay:

$17.00 - $22.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
