Responsibilities:

Procure materials and products—stock and non-stock—to satisfy current and forecasted customer demands in line with purchasing strategies. Review and approve inventory forecasts and daily replenishment reports generated by Vallen's inventory management systems. Expedite or de-expedite orders to ensure timely delivery, optimizing inventory levels. Place purchase requisitions and negotiate with vendors to secure competitive pricing, quality, and delivery standards. Monitor supplier performance, coordinate returns and replacements, and resolve quality or delivery issues promptly. Communicate status updates and resolve discrepancies with vendors while maintaining strong supplier and customer relationships. Identify cost-saving opportunities and document KPIs to support continuous improvement initiatives. Follow all Standard Operating Procedures and LEAN practices, maintaining a professional, clean, and safe work environment.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

1 year of experience in Procurement or related. High school diploma or higher. This role is being recruited for by one of our Centralized Delivery Team and not your local Branch.
