Customer Engagement Representative Ironwood West Michigan Group | Battle Creek, MI Full-Time | W-2 | In-Person Retail Join Our Battle Creek Team Ironwood West Michigan Group is expanding our customer-facing team and looking for a Customer Engagement Representative in the Battle Creek area. This opportunity is designed for someone who enjoys meeting people, communicating face-to-face, learning new information, and helping customers make informed decisions. You'll work directly with customers inside an assigned retail location. Rather than sitting behind a desk or working in a call center, you'll have conversations with customers, answer questions, provide product and service information, and help create a positive retail experience. We provide paid training and ongoing coaching , so previous sales experience isn't required. Your Responsibilities Welcome and engage customers Build professional rapport through conversation Ask questions to understand customer needs Explain available products and services Provide information about features and current promotions Help customers compare available options Answer questions clearly and accurately Assist customers with purchases or enrollment when appropriate Maintain knowledge of assigned products and services Provide a positive customer experience Participate in team meetings, training, and coaching Previous Experience That Works Well Candidates from retail, customer service, restaurants, hospitality, wireless or electronics, guest services, events, promotions, membership services, or other customer-facing positions may already have many of the skills we're looking for. Relevant previous positions can include Customer Service Representative, Retail Associate, Sales Associate, Server, Host, Barista, Brand Ambassador, Wireless Sales Representative, Guest Services Representative, Front Desk Associate, Team Lead, Shift Lead, or Assistant Manager. We're equally interested in candidates who are newer to the workforce but demonstrate professionalism, communication skills, dependability, and a willingness to learn.
