Customer Service Representative

Overview Join our growing plastics distribution company, founded in 2019, specializing in the sale of engineered and commodity thermoplastics to injection molders. We are seeking to hire a customer service representative to fulfill a dynamic and multifaceted role that includes responsibilities such as responding to customer inquiries, generating in-house quotes, data entry, and other general office duties. Responsibilities Learn our product line and about thermoplastic resins in general, and become a knowledgeable resource for customers Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to drive repeat business Assist customers with inquiries related to products, services, billing, and account management using clear communication and active listening Act as a conduit between in-house operations and outside sales staff, addressing daily concerns and providing valuable product information. Assist operations staff with the issuing of purchase orders, and entering sales orders into our ERP. Enter relevant customer interaction data into our CRM. Other general office related tasks. Qualifications Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with active listening capabilities Sales aptitude Good negotiating skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel) and general computer skills for data entry and documentation Demonstrated ability to handle outbound calling campaigns effectively and maintain professionalism under pressure Attention to detail with strong analysis skills for assessing customer needs and providing tailored solutions Aptitude and comfortability with in-house sales and negotiating skills If you're ready to build a career with a growing company, and learn the in's and out's of the plastics industry please do not hesitate to apply.
