Job Overview Are you a top-tier Service Advisor ready to lead from the front counter and step into a Shop Manager role as our business grows? Christian Brothers Automotive Byron Center is looking for an elite Senior Service Advisor who combines master-level vehicle knowledge with exceptional customer service skills. You won't just write up repair orders—you will own the customer journey, direct shop flow, and translate complex mechanical needs into clear, confident decisions for our guests. Guest Experience:
Greet customers with energy, listen attentively to their vehicle concerns, and set a standard of hospitality that sets us apart.
Translate & Consult:
Break down inspection findings and complex diagnostics into clear, educational recommendations that empower customers.
Drive Shop Performance:
Build precise repair estimates, ethically recommend maintenance that protects safety, and maximize sales volume without compromising integrity. Bridge Counter to
Bay:
Partner closely with technicians to ensure steady workflow, protect quality standards, and keep repairs running on schedule. Lead the
Floor:
Maintain accurate service records and step up as a floor leader, preparing to transition into shop management.
Requirements Proven Experience:
Solid track record as a Service Advisor, Assistant Manager, or Manager in a high-volume dealership or independent shop.
Technical Mastery:
Deep mechanical literacy across all automotive systems (brakes, suspension, electrical, engine, transmission, diesel, etc.). Former service technician experience is a major plus!
Software Savvy:
Proficient with industry-standard service management software, digital vehicle inspections (DVIs), and labor/parts estimating tools.
High-Impact Communicator:
Ability to explain technical information clearly, advise guests tactfully, and build immediate trust.
Valid Driver's License:
