Located in Calumet, MI, Designotype Printers focuses on supporting customer growth and long-term success through high-quality, reliable services. Role Description The Customer Service Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based at our Calumet, MI location. This role is responsible for responding to customer inquiries in person, by phone, and via email, providing accurate information about products, services, pricing, and order status. Day-to-day tasks include processing orders, assisting with job details and specifications, coordinating with the design and production teams, and ensuring clear communication throughout the project lifecycle. The specialist will handle issue resolution, follow up on customer requests, and maintain records of interactions and orders. This role also supports front-desk reception, manages basic administrative tasks, and contributes to a positive, professional customer experience.
Qualifications:
Strong customer-facing skills, including Customer Service and Customer Experience, with a focus on building trust and positive relationships. Ability to manage Customer Support and Customer Satisfaction activities, including handling questions, concerns, and follow-ups effectively. Professional Phone Etiquette and clear communication skills in spoken and written en_US. Attention to detail in order entry, documentation, and coordination with internal teams. Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with office software; experience with print or marketing services is a plus. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or training in customer service or business is beneficial.
