Job Description

About FOAMit At FOAMit, we design, build, & support chemical application equipment for people who clean the world! We exist to "Make it Better" for our customers, employees and communities. We're all responsible for building a company culture we want to be a part of, and our values are the blueprint! We offer awesome, affordable benefits, a fun, healthy, dynamic workplace environment full of people who are dedicated to success on multiple levels - for themselves, their teammates, our customers and for the business as a whole! Thank you for your interest in joining the FOAMit family! About the Role Every order that enters our system is a commitment to a customer. As a Customer Service Specialist, you make sure that commitment starts right, with accurate pricing, quantities, and shipping details that flow cleanly through to the teams who execute on them. When you catch issues early and communicate clearly, you protect the customer experience and keep the business moving forward without unnecessary friction. This role sits at the intersection of customer service, operations, and internal coordination. You will be the person our sales, operations, and shipping teams depend on for clean, reliable data, and the voice customers hear when they have questions about their orders. Key Responsibilities 1. Order Accuracy You own the accuracy of every order that comes through the door. That means reviewing pricing, quantities, and shipping details before confirming, processing incoming emails and purchase orders promptly, and resolving discrepancies before they reach downstream teams. The teams who depend on your work can trust what they receive.
What you will do:
Review each order for accuracy in pricing, quantities, and shipping details before confirming. Process incoming emails and purchase orders promptly and keep the queue current. Identify and resolve order discrepancies before they reach downstream teams. Maintain an organized task list so nothing is missed and follow-ups happen on time. 2. Internal Alignment and Order Flow Orders should move from entry to shipping without delays or confusion. You keep the teams around you, Sales, Operations, and Shipping, informed and equipped. You communicate proactively when something shifts, stay flexible when priorities change, and surface issues early enough that they can be resolved without disruption.
What you will do:
Communicate order status and changes to relevant teams clearly and without delay. Track open tasks and follow up consistently so nothing stalls between departments. Catch issues early and bring them forward with enough context for fast resolution. Adapt quickly when order priorities or timelines shift and keep the right people informed. 3. Customer Communication and Support Customers get clear, timely answers to their order questions and never feel like they are chasing us. When ship dates change or items are back-ordered, you communicate proactively and keep everything on track. You know our products, units, and processes well enough to respond with confidence and make every interaction easy.
What you will do:
Respond to customer inquiries promptly with clear, accurate information. Communicate proactively on ship date changes and back-order situations before customers have to ask. Build working knowledge of FOAMit products, units, and processes to support confident, accurate responses. What We're Looking For Strong attention to detail and a habit of double-checking your own work. Clear, professional communication, both written and verbal. Comfort working in a fast-paced environment where priorities can shift. Ability to manage a task queue and follow up without being reminded. Experience with order entry, customer service, or operations support Familiarity with ERP or order management systems is a plus.
