Customer Service & Dispatcher - Full Time Lakeshore Recycling & Disposal - New Buffalo, MI About Us Lakeshore Recycling & Disposal is a locally owned and operated trash hauler proudly serving Southwest Michigan, Northwest Indiana, and surrounding areas. Our team is committed to providing reliable and friendly service to the communities we serve. The Opportunity We are looking for a high-energy, motivated, and friendly Customer Service Representative with dispatching experience to join our fast-paced office. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a busy environment, enjoys working with people, and wants to be part of a supportive team. Responsibilities Answer and direct calls on a multi-line phone system Assist customers with service inquiries, billing questions, and scheduling needs Dispatch drivers and coordinate service routes to ensure timely completion of work Provide accurate information and resolve issues with professionalism and patience Perform data entry and maintain customer account information Support office operations as needed Requirements Previous customer service experience (phone-based preferred) Prior dispatching experience in a service or transportation-related industry a plus Strong communication and problem-solving skills Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure ("tough skin required") Reliability and punctuality are a must Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel Schedule & Work Environment Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Casual and friendly office environment Why Join Us?
