Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Service Advisor to join our automotive service team. Duties Greet customers warmly, listen attentively to their vehicle concerns, and accurately document service needs Explain repair and maintenance procedures clearly, providing detailed estimates using estimating software Upsell additional services or repairs that enhance vehicle performance and safety while aligning with customer needs Coordinate with technicians to prioritize work orders and ensure timely completion of services Manage service writing tasks, including creating detailed repair orders and updating clients on progress Conduct automotive diagnostics to identify issues accurately, leveraging mechanical knowledge and diagnostic tools Maintain effective communication with clients throughout the service process, addressing questions and providing recommendations for vehicle maintenance or repairs Requirements Proven experience as a Service Advisor or in a similar auto service management role within a dealership or independent shop Strong mechanical knowledge, including familiarity with automotive diagnostics, transmissions, oil changes, brake repair, suspension systems, tire service, diesel engine repair, shocks & struts, air brake systems, alignment, collision repair, and auto body repair Proficiency with estimating software and computer-aided vehicle damage estimating tools Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally Experience in auto estimating, sales techniques including upselling, and handling cash transactions Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Prior experience working with automotive repair processes such as auto service management or service writing is highly desirable Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically active tasks as needed Join us in delivering outstanding automotive care!
