Job Description As a Security Officer Full Time Customer Service Patrol in Southfield, MI , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control activities, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. PM What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical/petrochemical location. Respond to incidents, alarms, spills, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and promptly reporting observations to appropriate personnel. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, access points, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor access control points, verify credentials as directed, document visitor and contractor activity, and help maintain accurate daily activity reports. Observe and report potential hazards, damaged equipment, unsecured areas, or policy violations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

Customer service experience is preferred. Comfortability using a computer or tablet is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. CPR certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
