Position Summary:
Serve as the primary liaison between customers, field technicians, service departments, and internal teams—managing work orders, estimates, warranties, scheduling, and customer communication—to ensure smooth service delivery for large equipment rentals and sales. Key Responsibilities Customer Interaction & Needs Assessment Greet customers (in-person, phone, or email), record equipment issues, and gather accurate repair/service requirements Consult on warranty coverage and PM recommendations per factory or contract policies. Estimating & Work Order Management Prepare detailed service estimates and secure customer approval before starting work. Open, monitor, and close work orders with precise details, technician time, parts used, and labor logged. Scheduling & Coordination Allocate technician assignments based on workload, priority, and required expertise. Maintain preventive maintenance schedules and ensure timely fleet service. Warranty & Billing Administration Identify warranty-eligible tasks; create claims, monitor their status, and follow through to completion. Process invoices for customer, internal, and warranty work; ensure accurate coding and submission. Issue Resolution & Communication Provide timely status updates; inform customers of delays, additional repair needs, or budget changes. Escalate complex service concerns to management, coordinate with parts, dispatch, and sales teams. Administrative Support & Reporting Maintain accurate equipment and service records in ERP systems. Generate operational reports—work orders, warranty stats, PM compliance, and service efficiency metrics.
Pay:
$55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
