Job Description
Job Description Insight Global is looking for a customer-focused Business Development Representative to support customers through utility program enrollment and the incentive claims process. In this role, you will help identify program eligibility, guide customers through required steps, maintain accurate records, and move qualified customers through the incentive claims pipeline before handing them off to Home Energy Consultants (HECs). Preference is for candidates based in Northern California. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys customer outreach, process coordination, and helping customers navigate complex programs with clarity and confidence.

Compensation:
$20 hr to $21/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law. - Ability to build rapport quickly and communicate clearly with customers over phone, email, and text.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in a process-driven environment.
- Ability to manage a high volume of customer follow-up activities while maintaining accuracy.
- Comfort working with structured workflows, eligibility criteria, and status tracking tools.
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude and strong ownership mindset.
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn CRM and workflow systems quickly. Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in customer support, inside sales, appointment setting, program enrollment, claims processing, or call-center operations.
- Familiarity with utility programs, rebates, incentives, residential energy products, or home electrification.
- Experience documenting customer interactions and pipeline stages in CRM systems.
- Experience working across handoff points between sales and operations teams.
