Minnesota Veterinary Neurology has been established to provide easy access to superior care for the small animal neurologic patients in Minnesota and the surrounding area. We are a privately owned hospital who cares deeply about our patients, our clients, and every one of our amazing team members.
Job Summary:
Under the supervision of the practice manager and neurologist, the client experience representative will greet clients, assist them in checking in and checking out, collect payments, and schedule appointments. The CER will be the client's first point of contact and ensure a smooth and positive experience for clients and neurologic patients.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Greet clients up on arrival and assist them with appointment check in
- Schedule appointments and conduct appointment reminder calls
- Field phone calls for the veterinary technicians, neurologist, and DVMs
- Perform and assist team members with clerical needs
- Provide information to clients on services and products
- Respond to client's nonmedical inquiries
- Collect payments and deposits
- Discuss financial assistance options to clients
- Submit pet insurance paperwork
- Request patient records from referring clinics
- Data entry Hospital cleanliness
- Maintain client confidentiality
- Perform other job-related duties assigned by practice manager and neurologist
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- Minimum of two years' experience working in a customer service role
- Proficiency in operating office equipment
- Strong time management and prioritization skills
- Demonstrated ability to work both within a team and individually
- Proven ability to communicate respectfully, positively, and effectively with team members, referring clinics, and clients
- Exceptional problem-solving skills
- Skilled in digital record keeping and appointment scheduling methods and email
- Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays as assigned
Working Conditions:
- Veterinary office environment
- Frequent interaction with animals and their owners
- Exposure to typical conditions and noises associated with veterinary care
- 4-day work week
- Day 30-minute paid lunch break (Wednesday through Saturday)

Physical Requirements:
- May experience long periods of standing and sitting
- Ability to lift 40lbs
Compensation and Benefits:
- Hourly rate: $18-24/hr
- Holiday pay at time and half
