Job Description
Crosslake Veterinary Hospital (crosslakevet.com) is looking for a Veterinary Customer Service Representative to join our team . Crosslake Vet is a companion animal clinic in the Brainerd Lakes Area. We pride ourselves on quality, evidence-based care that begins with establishing client relationships and focusing on educating our pet owners and practicing preventative medicine. We are a busy practice with a high influx of seasonal patient care needs in the summer. We are looking for a CSR who thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels in customer service, and has a positive attitude. The CSR position at Crosslake Veterinary Hospital is a key member of our team. Our ideal candidate excels in customer service, is able to transition quickly between tasks and maintains a positive attitude with ease. Must also possess excellent communication skills including oral, written and interpersonal. Must be able to perform all the duties of a veterinary receptionist operating a multi-line phone system, scheduling appointments, collecting payment for services, as well as coordinate customer needs including education on veterinary care, updating medical records, and triaging emergency calls. This team member will be cross-trained as a Veterinary Assistant. Veterinary Assistants are responsible for helping with daily appointments and patient restraint, surgical and dental procedures, general facility and equipment cleaning, and execute disinfection protocols.
