Sam's Tire Service in Glencoe MN has a full time service writer position open. We are a fast paced shop with a loyal customer base. We specialize in repair and replacement of automotive tires, commercial tires, and agricultural tires. Other services offered include; alignments (auto/semi), brakes, diagnostics, suspension, exhaust, oil change, fluid services, A/C, on-site tire service, and DOT inspections.

Service writer responsibilities include:

Greeting customers and accurately documenting customer concerns. Act as a liaison between customers and technicians. Assigning work to technicians based on the level of skill required. Manage time needed for each repair and schedule for efficient shop flow. Preparing work orders and advise customers on cost of needed repairs. Finalizing invoices and collecting payments. Service writers need to be personable, dependable, organized, and know basic computer skills. An automotive or agricultural background would be beneficial.
