Maple Grove, MN (only local candidates in MN will be considered. Weekly onsite presence required.)

Compensation:

$20-$24/hr dependent on applicable experience (plus annual bonus potential)

Overview:

We're partnering with a growing Twin Cities financial services organization that is looking to add a Customer Service & Collections Specialist to their team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working directly with customers, managing account activity, and helping resolve payment-related questions and past-due balances. In this role, you'll work with clients, vendors, and consumers to set up new accounts and payment plans, follow up on past-due accounts, process payments, and resolve account questions and discrepancies. The company provides structured training on their proprietary system and processes, making this a good opportunity for someone who is organized, professional, and eager to learn. What You'll Be Doing Set up new clients and vendors with accounts, welcome information, and payment plans. Contact clients regarding past-due accounts and establish or maintain collection payment schedules. Make outbound calls and send email reminders regarding upcoming or missed payments. Answer questions regarding accounts, transactions, and payments while providing professional customer service. Process ACH and electronic payments and resolve payment discrepancies. Research account and transaction inquiries and escalate issues when necessary. Maintain accurate transaction and account records. Meet daily call-volume and performance goals. Follow internal controls and regulatory requirements. What We're Looking For 1+ year of collections/customer service experience, preferably in a B2B environment. Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to have professional conversations regarding payments and past-due accounts. Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through. Comfortable making a high volume of outbound calls and communicating with clients, vendors, and consumers. Professional and dependable with the ability to learn and follow established processes. Experience with Excel is helpful but not required. Experience with accounting, collections, or customer service systems is helpful; training will be provided on the company's proprietary system. Why choose Addison Finance & Accounting?
