Position Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Life Insurance Case Manager to help ensure the life insurance application process runs smoothly and efficiently from start to finish. In this role, you will support agents throughout the application process, coordinate requirements with insurance carriers, and provide professional, responsive service. Previous insurance experience is welcomed but not required. Key Responsibilities Review new life insurance applications to ensure all requirements are complete before submission to the insurance carrier. Order medical exams, medical records, and other documentation as needed. Follow up with agents and insurance carriers regarding outstanding requirements and case status. Process and maintain life insurance cases within Salesforce. Provide professional and timely communication with agents and carriers via phone and email. Manage multiple cases simultaneously while meeting established service-level expectations and deadlines. Learn carrier-specific workflows and confidently navigate carrier websites and systems. Identify opportunities to improve processes and create efficiencies. Collaborate closely with team members to meet shared goals and provide assistance when needed. Deliver a high level of customer service throughout the application and case-management process. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Strong computer and data-entry skills with the ability to type 60+ words per minute. Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively. Comfortable learning and navigating multiple software platforms and websites. Experience with Google Workspace (G Suite) and Salesforce preferred, but not required. Previous experience in life insurance, insurance operations, case management, administrative support, or a related position preferred, but not required.
