Job Description
Job Summary Are you looking for a predictable work schedule with standard hours and benefits? Grand Marais State Bank, Ortonville, MN is looking for enthusiastic Customer Service Representatives to join our team. We are staffing both full-time and part-time opportunities to contribute to our core value of exceptional customer service. This full-time role offers a variety of insurance benefits, as well as a generous PTO package, up to 11 paid holidays, and 401k Profit Sharing! Duties Respond promptly and professionally to customer issues or inquiries in person and/or via phone or email Process secure customer transactions including verifying deposits/withdrawals, applying loan payments, completing cash advances, etc., ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed Cross-Sell Bank products and services such as Cashier's Checks, Personal Money Orders, and Gift Cards as requested Comply with established balancing standards and cash drawer levels Prepare follow-up correspondence for new accounts/customers Assist the operations staff with daily duties and projects Comply with Bank Secrecy Act Policy (BSA) and all Bank Secrecy Regulations Skills Familiarity with banking or financial services such as cash handling, debits/credits, and cashiering procedures is advantageous Excellent verbal and written communication skills along with proper telephone etiquette are necessary Proficiency in computer literacy, data entry, and typing accuracy is necessary Ability to perform basic math calculations is essential Ability to multitask while maintaining attention to detail is preferred Experience in fraud detection and prevention is advantageous Join us in delivering outstanding service from communities in northeastern Minnesota to the agricultural community of southwestern Minnesota.
