Job Description
Be the friendly voice behind exceptional member service. Lake Region Electric Cooperative (LREC) proudly serves more than 30,000 members throughout west-central Minnesota. As a locally owned electric cooperative, we're committed to providing safe, reliable electricity and exceptional service to the communities we serve. We are seeking a full-time Member Services Representative to join our team on-site in Pelican Rapids, MN. As one of the first points of contact for our member-owners (customers), you'll provide responsive, accurate, and professional service while helping members with billing questions, account services, and Cooperative programs. If you enjoy helping people, communicating with professionalism and empathy, solving problems, and working as part of a collaborative team, we'd love to hear from you. What You'll Do Serve members by phone, email, and in person with professionalism and care. Answer questions regarding accounts, billing, payments, and Cooperative services. Assist members with service requests, payment arrangements, and available assistance programs. Maintain accurate account information and documentation. Collaborate with coworkers across departments to ensure timely, responsive service. Support communications during outages and other operational events. Qualifications A combination of education and experience equivalent to four (4) years in customer service, office administration, utilities, banking, healthcare, hospitality, or a related field. Strong communication, customer service, organizational, and problem-solving skills. The ability to learn new software systems and adapt to changing priorities. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other business technology. A commitment to providing outstanding service while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
