Job Description

DRIVERS ANNEX

CAR STORAGE

Director of Client Services Location Central Corridor - St. Louis County Reports to Ownership Type Full-time, on-site

ABOUT DRIVERS ANNEX DACS

is a purpose-built collector car storage facility in St. Louis, built by collectors for collectors. We provide secure, climate-controlled storage with lounge space and a curated set of ancillary services — detailing, battery maintenance, transport coordination — for owners of significant automobiles. Our standard is high touch, comprehensive, and respectful — and of the highest order in appearance, behavior, and facility maintenance. Our clients trust us with cars that matter to them, with privacy and discretion.

THE ROLE

The Director of Client Services runs the facility day to day and is the face of DACS to every client, family member, assistant, driver, and vendor who walks through the door. Ownership sets direction; this person delivers the experience. The right candidate is a genuine automotive enthusiast who has spent years around exceptional cars and the people who own them — and is entirely at ease in that company. Not impressed by the car, not impressed by the name on the account, and never treating either as ordinary.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Client experience Serve as the single point of contact for all client inquiries — phone, email, text, and in person Onboard new clients: walkthroughs, agreements, vehicle intake and condition documentation Schedule and oversee all vehicle pickups, deliveries, and client visits Coordinate third-party vendors on clients' behalf — detailers, mechanics, transporters, PPF/paint, inspectors — and ensure their work meets our standard Maintain complete, current records for every vehicle: location, battery status, service history, insurance and registration on file Anticipate needs. Know which client wants the car warm and fueled on Friday afternoons without being asked twice Facility operations Own the daily condition of the building: cleanliness, lighting, climate, security, lift operation, and vehicle positioning Hire, schedule, train, and manage part-time staff Manage facility vendors and maintenance contracts Enforce access, key, and security protocols without exception Operate the systems the business runs on — Odoo, CRM, billing, and security/access control software — and keep them accurate Community and growth Represent DACS at Cars & Coffee, concours, club events, dealer and auction events, and private gatherings throughout the St. Louis area Plan and host DACS-sponsored events at the facility Build and maintain relationships with high-line dealers, brokers, specialty shops, transporters, wealth managers, family offices, and estate attorneys who refer clients Report occupancy, pipeline, and client feedback to ownership on a regular cadence

WHO YOU ARE

Deeply passionate about automobiles — the history, the engineering, the culture — and able to hold a real conversation about a 300SL, a GT3 RS, and a Land Cruiser with equal interest Comfortable and composed around high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth individuals, their families, and the people who work for them. You understand that the assistant and the house manager are the client too Discreet by nature. What you see and hear at DACS stays at DACS Warm, calm, and reassuring. Clients should leave every interaction feeling their car is in better hands than their own garage Organized and exacting. Nothing falls through the cracks; nothing is "probably fine" Self-directed. You run the building; ownership is available but not on site every day

REQUIRED BACKGROUND

Meaningful experience in at least one of the following: High-line automotive dealer or brokerage (sales, client advisor, or general management) High-line service or maintenance operation, in a client-facing role that included managing a team Motorsports team logistics or management Client-facing role with an exclusive luxury brand or service — fine art, watches, wine, private aviation, yachting, or comparable

Plus:

Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and insurability under our garagekeepers policy Proficient driving manual transmissions and comfortable moving high-value vehicles in tight spaces and on lifts Willingness to work some evenings and weekends for events and client needs; availability for occasional after-hours issues Able to pass a comprehensive background check; will sign confidentiality and non-solicitation agreements
