Job Description
Duties & Responsibilities :
- Customer Service
- Prompt and effective communication with Contracted Carriers, Drivers, Operations teams, Sales Reps, Sales Agents, and Customers via phone, email, & other forms of communication
- Action Oriented
- Work quickly, efficiently, and with urgency in a fast-paced environment
- Maturity
- Maintain composure, professionalism, & positive attitude under stress
- System Management
- Use TMS to ensure accurate & timely system updates & reporting of information regarding all functions having to do with Operational support
- Problem Solving
- Analyze needs & assist Operations to provide timely & appropriate solutions to transportation issues or problems
- Data Entry
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of carrier interactions, updates, communications, and transactions using the TMS
- Team Member
- Collaborate with Operations Team members to provide excellent customer service
- Company Representation
- Follow company policies, procedures, & guidelines to maintain company integrity & standing in the marketplace
- Other tasks & responsibilities as assigned related to freight service
Experience:
- Previous call center or office experience preferred
- Previous transportation experience preferred but not required
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- 40 WPM
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- Work well in a team environment on-site
- Proficiently utilize workplace computer systems, software applications, & electronic communication

$689.29- $830.
