Job Description

Customer Account Specialist Job Description Summary Provide accurate and timely customer account support in a manufacturing and regulated environment. Responsible for order processing, shipping and inventory reporting, and customer communication to ensure accurate billing, shipments, and positive customer experience. Job Responsibilities Enter, maintain, and update customer orders and data in the ERP system (JD Edwards/Oracle preferred). Review daily production, receipt, and shipment documentation for accuracy. Provide production, inventory, and shipment reporting to customers. Reconcile inventory discrepancies between internal systems and customer systems. Support end‑of‑month reporting and billing accuracy. Process customer shipping orders and verify inventory availability. Ensure DOT‑regulated Bills of Lading and Safety Data Sheets (SDS) accompany shipments. Communicate shipping instructions to internal teams and carriers. Respond to customer inquiries professionally and participate in routine customer calls. Maintain organized documentation per company and customer requirements. Serve as backup support for other Customer Account team members. Required Qualifications Strong attention to detail and data accuracy. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word). Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment. Strong organizational and problem‑solving skills. Preferred Qualifications Customer service or administrative experience. Experience in a manufacturing or regulated environment. Experience with ERP systems, preferably JD Edwards/Oracle. Associate's degree or equivalent work experience preferred. Starting at $22.00 per hour.
