Job Description

As part of the a shared team, you may interact with members of the Banner Fire team throughout the hiring process as we work together to support first responders across the region. Join Our Team We're seeking a dependable, customer-focused Customer Service Representative to serve as a key point of contact for our customers, sales staff, and walk-in visitors — supporting order accuracy, timely fulfillment, and an excellent overall customer experience. This role is the only full-time office staff member at our Wentzville location, so it's a great fit for someone who works well independently and has the ability to take ownership of the office. Why You'll Love This Role As the Customer Service Representative , you'll: Serve as a key point of contact for customers, sales staff, and walk-in visitors — answering calls, emails, and in-person inquiries in a professional, timely manner Provide customers and sales staff with product information, pricing, order updates, and general support Process customer and sales staff orders accurately, prepare price quotes, and communicate order status and availability across teams Support sales representatives with order information, product availability, and coordination with internal departments to ensure timely fulfillment Assist with warranty claims, parts identification, and vendor communications, plus scheduling equipment service, annual testing, and maintenance appointments Monitor inventory availability, maintain pricing files, and generate Open Order and Outstanding Purchase Order reports Maintain accurate customer and department records, process payments and deposits, and prepare invoices and supporting documentation Help resolve customer questions and concerns, escalating complex issues to management when appropriate What We're Looking For High school diploma or GED required Entry-level experience in customer service and/or inventory management preferred Ability to learn new products, systems, and processes quickly Basic math skills for processing payments, pricing, and order calculations Strong customer service and interpersonal skills with a professional demeanor Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally Why You'll Love Working at LME We invest in your success with a package that rewards performance and supports your life outside of work: Weekly pay 100% employer-paid employee medical option + life and disability coverage Medical, dental, and vision plans for you and your family 401(k) with up to 5% company match PTO from day one + 11.5 paid holidays Training and advancement opportunities Competitive Compensation That Rewards Your Expertise At LME, we recognize and value the skills and experience you bring.
