The duties of this position include answering phones, scheduling patients, insurance verifications and authorizations, daily use of Windows computer software (Bonafide), an iPad, multi-tasking general office duties, and assisting other Customer Service Representatives as needed.

WHAT YOU WILL DO IN THIS ROLE
As a Customer Service Representative at Cook Medical Supply, you will professionally interact with patients and/or clients on a close and personal level as well as: Assist walk in patients or clients, conduct foot assessments, explain and show them how to use equipment in a timely manner. Assess all in-bound calls to accurately and efficiently address the call by maintaining a strong customer focus. Communicate with team-members in a warm, helpful and professional manner while simultaneously building credibility and rapport. Be patient and compassionate while working as a team player and using all your available resources to provide the best outcome. Be efficient in navigating multiple systems. Participate in ongoing training and self-development. Maintain regular attendance and punctuality as scheduled and adhere to all company time and attendance policies. Participate in activities designed to improve customer satisfaction and business performance. Deliver exceptional customer experiences.
Requirements:
Your skills, integrity, knowledge, and genuine compassion will deliver value and success with every interaction. Other qualifications for our Customer Service Representative role, whether
English-speaking or Bilingual:
(English/Spanish), will include: Associate's degree (minimum) or equivalent experience Must be at least 18 years of age 1 Year Medical office experience (Required) 1 Year Customer service (Required) Ability to work in a fast- paced environment with extreme attention to detail and ownership Advanced computer proficiency (including knowledge of windows-based applications) Excellent written and verbal communications and typing skills (30 WPM) required Ability to work 40 hours/wk. and attend all training sessions Demonstrate excellent communication skills and abilities to have critical conversations with individuals while maintaining a professional environment
