Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Service Writer / Parts Specialist to join our RV Service team. In this pivotal role, you will serve as the vital link between customers, technicians and parts departments, ensuring smooth communication and efficient service delivery. Your energetic approach will help drive customer satisfaction, promote additional service opportunities through upselling, and support the overall success of our RV Service Repair operations. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and accurately identify their vehicle needs, providing expert guidance on repairs and maintenance services. Answering telephones and write detailed, clear, accurate repair orders Collaborate with technicians to communicate customer concerns and ensure timely completion of repairs while maintaining high-quality standards. Upsell additional services and parts by identifying customer needs and explaining benefits effectively to enhance customer satisfaction and dealership revenue. Manage parts inventory efficiently by ordering necessary components promptly and maintaining organized records of parts used for each job. Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments securely while providing excellent customer service throughout the entire interaction. Maintain detailed documentation of all service activities, including vehicle diagnostics, estimates, work performed, and follow-up recommendations. Qualifications Proven customer service skills. Hands-on RV experience or automotive diagnostics knowledge to better communicate technical details to customers. Familiarity with computer programs a plus Knowledge of a wide range of RV systems a plus. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to upsell effectively while maintaining integrity and professionalism. Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and manage parts inventory efficiently.
