Job Description
Direct Auto CDJR is looking for a motivated, customer-focused Service Advisor to join our team. The Service Advisor serves as the primary point of contact between customers and the service department, helping customers understand their vehicle's needs while keeping the repair process organized and moving efficiently. Responsibilities Greet customers, listen to their concerns, and accurately document vehicle complaints and requested services Communicate customer concerns to technicians and explain technician recommendations, repairs, maintenance, costs, and estimated completion times to customers Prepare accurate repair estimates, communicate changes or additional repairs, and obtain customer authorization when required Keep customers informed throughout the repair process and provide updates regarding vehicle status, delays, or changes Answer service calls, schedule appointments, and assist customers with service-related questions Coordinate repair orders with technicians and the service department to maintain an efficient workflow Prepare and close repair orders, invoices, and customer payments accurately Process extended warranty and factory warranty claims and required documentation Maintain accurate customer and vehicle records and assist with recalls and maintenance scheduling Follow dealership/manufacturer procedures while maintaining a clean, organized, professional environment and providing exceptional customer service Qualifications Previous automotive service or dealership experience preferred Strong customer service, communication, organizational, and time-management skills Ability to communicate effectively with customers and technicians and explain automotive repairs in an easy-to-understand manner Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Comfortable using computers and dealership service software Professional, dependable, and positive attitude Valid driver's license Pay & Opportunity Starting pay: $15/hour, with opportunities for pay increases as you complete training and demonstrate proficiency in the Service Advisor role. We're looking for someone who is personable, organized, dependable, and comfortable working with both people and vehicles.
